Warehouse – Receiving Clerk

Carpinteria, CA

Knowledge & Experience

• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift-up to 50lbs. continuously as needed.
• Ability to operate industrial power trucks and equipment as needed.
• Read and write English Fluently.
• Must be able to obtain a high degree of knowledge of inventory parts (3-6months learning period).
• Prior shipping and receiving experience a plus.
• Team Player.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.

Receiving:

• Unloads, breaks down and validates incoming purchase order shipments.
• Reports discrepancies to Shipping and Receiving Supervisor and Purchasing.
• Processes purchase orders into computer inventory system (Visibility).
• Maintains records of all received items on-a-daily basis.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor and/or Lead.
• Consolidate inventory
• Assemble wooden pallets for incoming shipments 

Receiving:
